We are proud to offer our students the opportunity to develop spiritually. Whether through Theology courses, weekly school masses, campus ministry, or just stopping in our Chapel for a quick prayer; Marquette offers students four years of opportunities to further their relationship with God while learning values they will carry throughout their lifetime.

3. A Premier Athletic Program

Marquette takes great pride in our winning athletic tradition.  Niche.com ranks Marquette #2 of 20 high schools in Madison County, IL and our athletic program is often recognized by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as one of the top small school programs in the St. Louis region. Our student-athletes often play against the best competition in the area and still advance deep into the IHSA playoffs, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We have won State Championships in numerous sports, have 20 State Finals appearances, and have Regional and Sectional Championships too numerous to count. Every year many of our graduating student-athletes receive athletic scholarships to universities throughout the country.

4. We Will Find A Way

Marquette takes pride in finding a way to make sure any student who wants to attend Marquette, can.  Through merit and need-based endowed scholarships, the Mega Raffle, Auction Dinner, and through the generosity of Annual Appeal donors, nearly $500,000 is raised annually to offset the cost of Marquette tuition. Approximately 50% of the student body receives financial assistance, scholarships, or both. Click here to view MCHS scholarships and financial assistance opportunities.

5. A Regional School

Design that special artistic piece for the annual Art Exhibit at the Jacoby Arts Center; or, take the lead in one of the school’s musical performances. Learn the techniques of sound, lighting, make-up, or scenery. Sing in the Chorus. Many Marquette students have gone on to pursue their passion for the arts at some of the finest art schools in the country such as Parsons School of Design - The New School, in New York City, or Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia.
