Let's fill the shelves: S.A.D.D. Food Drive for Alton Crisis Food Center

posted Nov 4 2017 8:00 PM

Hello and Happy Holidays!

Marquette’s S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) organization will be sponsoring a non-perishable and canned food drive to benefit Alton’s Crisis Food Center.

The collection dates are November 13th through November 17th and donations may be placed in the containers in our main hall between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., or placed in the containers in the cafeteria during the lunch periods. Suggested items include dry food products such as stuffing, mashed potatoes, cereal, baby food and all types of canned goods.

Students who make a minimum 3 item or a cash donation of $ 5.00 will receive a one-time Dress Down Pass which may be used during the week of November 20th thru the 24th.

Thank you for your support of this endeavor. The staff and the volunteers at the Crisis Food Center greatly appreciate the donations as they work to serve and lift up members of our community in need of assistance.
