Senator Erica Harriss' Youth Advisory Conference

Senator Erica Harriss hosted this fall's Illinois State Youth Advisory Conference (YAC) held at Lewis and Clark Community College. This two part event helps the students connect with their government and focus on topics important to today's youth. The fall session allows the students to break out into small groups to discuss and propose policy ideas. The students conclude the full day's session by voting on their proposed legislations to choose a policy to debated during the YAC spring conference.
