Karson Morrissey is a senior at Marquette Catholic High School. He is the son of Michael and Amanda Morrissey. He has three brothers, Konnor, Kollin, and Kooper. Karson is a member of the National Honors Society, has made the High Honor Roll every year, and has maintained a 4.68 GPA . He has earned 32 hours of college credit while at Marquette and was recently named an Illinois State Scholar.
He is also a member of the Student Council, and the Breast Cancer Awareness Club, and is a house captain in the Marquette Community and House system. Karson has been a member of the Marquette baseball team for four years and the soccer team, on which he won the IHSA Sportsmanship award.
Karson is also in the Riverbend CEO program, where he will start his own business, and he plans to use the skills he has learned to study business in college. Outside of school, Karson enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Karson would like to take this opportunity to thank his family, friends, and teachers for their support throughout all of his various activities and endeavors, and all Alton-Rotary Club members for allowing him to be here today.
Karson is still considering where he will attend college, but plans to major in Business Management.
