Nick Hemann, of Maryville and son of Brad and Lynn Hemann, was recently recognized as the Tournament MVP for the Metro East Lutheran Thanksgiving Tip-Off Classic as well as the Rotary Club Student of the Month. Nick was recognized by the Rotary Club for his achievements in academic and athletic activities at Marquette. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the DAR Youth Citizenship award.
As a member of the Marquette soccer team Hemann earned All-State honors. He has also been recognized as Athlete of the Week and All-Area in both basketball and soccer. In addition to his academic and athletic activities, he finds time to participate in community service and church-related activities and projects.
Upon graduation, Nick plans to major in business administration with a minor in sports management, while pursuing collegiate athletics.
