Marquette students recently had the opportunity to participate in the discussion "Theology of the Body", an age-appropriate presentation about faith, morals, and human sexuality.

The Marquette Catholic Music and Theater Department invites local Catholic middle or high school vocalists to compete in the inaugural MCHS Vocal Competition. The renowned, Tai Oney of Opera Theater St. Louis, St. Louis, MO will judge the final live competition on April 22, 2023.

Fifteen indivduals have committed to participate in Marquette Catholic's 12th Annual St. Baldrick's fundraiser. Over the years, MCHS students, faculty, and friends of Marquette have raised over $105,000 to help fund research to fight childhood cancer.

Congratulations to Marquette Catholic senior Sophie Bunch who has committed to continuing her academic and athletic career at Maryville University, where she plans to major in nursing. On Explorers!

On January 6th, coaches, players, family, and friends came to celebrate the 1982 Explorer football team. It was a night to reminisce the glory days of an outstanding team and to celebrate being an Explorer!

There is an urgent need for blood! The American Red Cross, The Big Z, and Marquette Catholic are sponsoring a blood drive on January 10 from 12-5:30 PM in the MCHS cafeteria. You will find the online sign up in the blog- enter zip code 62002. Sign up TODAY!

The MCHS Dance Team won 1st place for both of their Lyrical and Jazz routines at the Edwardsville IDTA Regional. They also secured their place in the IDTA State Competition in February! We would also like to give a big shoutout to junior, Kambria Simon for receiving a Rising Star Award! Congratulations!
