Marquette Seniors are gearing up for their week-long Mission Project. This is the 4th year that our students have assisted PRIDE, Inc. in its mission to help homeowners who are no longer able to maintain their homes without assistance.

The IHSA has recognized four MCHS fall athletic teams for their academic success. Congratulations to girls golf, volleyball, tennis, and boys soccer for maintaining over a 3.0 team GPA during your season!

With a 44-40 victory against Greenville in the Southwestern Regionals, the boys basketball team moves onto the DeQuion High School Sectionals. Our Explorers play the Pinckneyville Panthers on Tuesday, February 26th at 7 PM. On Explorers!

Congratulations to freshman, Adrenna Snipes for receiving Honorable Mention to the Associated Press Illinois All-State 2A team. Adrenna finished the season with 17.9 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, 3.26 assists per game, 5.45 steals per game.

The MCHS Athletic Office proudly announces Christopher Hartrich is one of only 26 high school students in the state of Illinois to be named to the prestigious IHSA All-State Academic Team. Chris was chosen from hundreds of Illinois high school seniors who were nominated based on their academic and athletic accomplishments.

Stephen Hasse (Sr.) received the DAR Good Citizen Award and Peyton Zigrang (Jr.) was honored with the Daughters of the American Revolution Youth Citizenship Award. Their strong character and contributions to the community made these two students stand out.

Senior, Payton Bradley has excelled in her academics while accumulating over 125 service hours during her four years at Marquette. Her passion for helping others has inspired her decision to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner. She plans to attend Maryville University.

Meghan Schorman started out strong in her debut on the mound as a University of Kentucky Wild Cat. Meghan allowed only two hits while retiring 15 straight. KU shut out Sam Houston State 6-0 in their first game of the season.

The 8th annual St. Baldrick's Foundation event brought together students, faculty, alumni, and members of our community to show MCHS's commitment to raising money to help find a cure for childhood cancer. It's not too late to donate.
