On Sunday, November 5, the MCHS National Honor Society proudly presented their newest members to family and friends. These student must meet rigorous academic requirements, as well as, strive to live by the four cardinal principles of the organization: character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

MCHS students Jacob Rose, Marissa Statos, and Alicia McCulley participated in the 2023 Illinois General Assembly Youth Conference hosted at SIUE. The event explores how the government works and gives the students the opportunity to discuss topics important to today's youth.

Alton Knights of Columbus Council 460 offers a scholarship to a child or grandchild of a Council 460 member to attend MCHS. The application for this $1,000 scholarship is for the 2024/25 school year. The application can be found in the blog.

Marquette Catholic congratulates Meredith Zigrang for being recognized as October's Alton-Godfrey Rotary Student of the Month. Meredith states, "I appreciate the education and leadership opportunities I have received while at MCHS."

Marquette Catholic proudly announces the Homecoming Court for the 2023-24 school year. The King and Queen's coronation takes place Saturday night, September 23, during the Homecoming Dance. Congratulations!

Marquette Catholic Cheerleaders and Dancers are excited to host a mini cheer clinic together! Participants will learn cheer and dance skills from the current MCHS cheerleading and dance squads. On Friday, October 14th the Mini Cheerleaders will join the MCHS Cheerleaders on the sidelines.
