Congratulations to the Varsity Dance Team! The Explorers won 2nd Grand Champions in the IDTA Class 1A State Dance competition. They also received 2nd in the Jazz category and 3rd in their Lyrical routine.

Coach McElrath has been named the new Marquette football coach. The former McCluer North football coach, was one of 20 applicants for the position. Coach Mac will also be joining the teaching staff as PE and Health instructor.

Family, friends and teammates - Football & Basketball cheered as Iggy McGee signed his Letter of Intent to play football for the Division II McKendree Bearcats.

As part of Catholic School's Week, Marquette will be participating in its 9th St. Baldrick's Head Shave to raise money for research for childhood cancer. To date,​ Marquette's Head Shave events have raised over $87,000.

Catholic Diocese of Springfield, IL., Bishop Thomas John Paprocki delivered an inspirational message Tuesday afternoon and also sang a rock band Green Day song during a special all schools Mass celebration at Marquette Catholic School for National Schools Week.

With two State Championships and a second-place finish in the last 9 years, Marquette Catholic's successful boys soccer program is looking for our next head coach to lead this great program. Applications being accepted now.

Congratulations to Coach Mark Jones and his team on a great season. The Explorer bowling program made its debut 4 years ago and continues to grow and improve.
