A 4-0 Sectional victory against the Sacred Heart Griffins secures a spot for the boys soccer team in the Sectional finals. The Explorers take on Riverton Hawks Friday (6pm) at Sacred Heart Griffin located at 1200 West Washington Street in Springfield.

“It is, honestly, unbelievable,” said Kratschmer, who shot 87 in her first round at state last season... “ I don’t have another word to describe it other than incredible.”

The regular season comes to a close with a championship plaque and three golfers advancing to the sectional tournament on October 14th.

What a week! In just a few days the Marquette students have decorated the halls, cheered for their fellow Explorers, dressed up in goofy costumes and then pulled out all the stops with their outfits for the Saturday night's Homecoming Dance.

Senior, Riley Vickrey announced she has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career. Next fall, Riley will run as a Southern Missouri State University Lion.

The Homecoming Weekend has activities for the students, alumni, parents and friends of Marquette. Join us for one or all of the scheduled events. This is a great weekend to come together and celebrate being an EXPLORER!

The MCHS Student Council has set the themes for this year's Homecoming Spirit Week. It's time for students to go through the closets, dig through the halloween boxes and hit the thrift stores to put their ensembles together!

The fall sports teams were introduced to the crowd of students, parents and alumni prior to the Blue/Gray game on Saturday, August 22nd at Public School Stadium. After the game, the festivities continued at the Kick Off Party at Johnson's Corner. Good luck to all the fall sports teams!

Will Roderfeld (Jr) and Aidan O'Keefe (Fr) came out strong for the Explorers in their first match of the season. Roderfeld and O'Keefe tied for 2nd Place in the Hickory Stick Classic. The team placed 4th overall.

Marquette welcomes 131 new Explorers. The freshman hall is full of slightly confused and perhaps nervous students today, but it won't be too long and it will feel like home!
